A new chapter in Dubai’s dining scene begins with the arrival of Ram N Roll, a vibrant Japanese-inspired restaurant redefining casual dining through craftsmanship and creativity. Headed by Chef Serhat Karanfil, in collaboration with Chef Reif Othman, the venue celebrates the artistry and energy of Japanese cuisine with a menu that’s both refined and rebellious.
At Ram N Roll, every dish is a nod to the precision and playfulness of Japan’s culinary culture. The experience begins with Zensai (snacks) such as Cabbage Gyoza, Yakitori Negi, and Miso Black Cod Kushiyaki, leading into an elegant sushi and sashimi selection featuring Akami (tuna), Chu-toro (semi-fatty tuna), Botan Ebi (shrimp), and Sashimi and Nigiri Moriawase – a chef’s curated mix of the freshest seasonal cuts. A premium caviar oyster offering showcases Beluga and Royal Oscietra selections, while salads reimagine Japanese freshness with Ramen Noodle Salad, King Crab Salad, and Burrata with Yuzu Miso.
The restaurant’s hand-roll bar serves fresh, made-to-order rolls and signature homemade ramen, including Chicken Shio and Spicy Beef Miso. For those craving something heartier, the steak selection features Angus Beef Tenderloin, Australian Wagyu, and the prized Kagoshima Japanese Wagyu. To end on a sweet note, guests can indulge in Yuzu Cheesecake, Tokyo Banana, or a selection of mochi and Black Sesame Ice Cream, offering a delicate finale to a dynamic dining experience.
To complement the dining experience, Ram N Roll presents a bespoke cocktail program inspired by Japanese craftsmanship and poetic storytelling.
Warm lighting, soft blush tones, and minimalistic table settings are punctuated by whimsical details such as anime figurines and grid-patterned tabletops that blur the line between fine dining and street culture. At the heart of the restaurant stands a traditional Japanese Taiko drum, symbolizing rhythm, unity, and energy.
