Yum Yum Tree New Hamala Branch

By  |

The Yum Yum Tree is entwined in the history of Bahrain and cemented in childhood memories of growing up in Bahrain.

Dr. Adel Bukhowa established the Yum Yum Tree Food Court in June 1996 in Bahrain, adopting the unique concept of an international style food court, starting with the prime location of Exhibition Road. Yum Yum Tree Food Court continued to expand in malls, airports, petrol stations, office parks and street side venues, reaching more than 150 branded units. Today, YYT is a strong GCC entity that proudly started in Bahrain.

Yum Yum Tree Food Court has been an international-styled representation of a ‘Restaurant within a Restaurant’ as it has been home to a variety of world cuisines for over 20 years under one roof. The brands represented within Yum Yum Tree Food Court are Al Mangal Express, Vanelli’s, Pad-Thai, Teriyaki, Menchies, Tiki-Ming, Tutti-Fruiti, Tandori, Fish Harbor, Sukiyaki, Papa’s Chicken and Subway.

Recently, YYT unveiled its new Hamala branch; the new interiors maximise on natural light and incorporate a beautiful tree design, wooden finishing with plenty of seating space. Customers can enjoy Arabic, Italian and Thai cuisines from Al Mangal Express, Vanellis and Pad Thai.

Press along with social media influencers were invited to the launch to sample the new menu and enjoy the new ambience of YYT. The new branch is a move towards the company’s vision of refreshing the brand.
“Yum Yum Tree Food Court concept has had an incredible journey in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Yum Yum Tree is an integral part of the social and food experience tradition of the island. Racha Lamdjadani, Brand and Strategic Marketing Director, further added, YYT Food Corporation will continue to focus on developing and improving our portfolio of international brands, as well as our homegrown brands. Our team has an unrelenting passion, unparalleled commitment and a strong belief in our brand promises.
