There’s still time to get down to the ‘Bahrain Summer Festival’ which  returned on July 7th and is running until August 7th. This year there is an all-new slate of top regional and international live musical and theatrical performances, alongside a wide range of artistic activities and creative workshops.

Now in its 9th edition, the annual month-long event organized by the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA) continues to build on its reputation as one of the most anticipated events of the year thanks to its focus on bringing multi-cultural family-friendly entertainment to the region.

As always, the festival returns the hugely popular Nakhool Tent, offering a variety of free activities and workshops for children of all ages.

Located at the historic Bahrain Fort Site, the tent features the familiar and beloved duo of Nakhool and Nakhoola who will welcome all families and friends from 4:30 pm to 9:30 pm each day for the duration of the festival to come and enjoy all the excitement and fun.

Moreover, an exciting line-up of live shows from regional and international performers will take place at the Cultural Hall.

The festival this year is part of BACA’s “Our Year of Archaeology” program which celebrates various aspects and assets of the island’s unique millennia-old history, culture, and heritage.
