When the Barbadian beauty Rihanna, won the 2014 “CFDA Fashion Icon” award, the decision wasn’t based on her style during that specific time period, the award and title would resonate, to the following generation, and here’s hoping, millennium.

Fashion is based on imagination, and story telling through clothes. Although it’s fair to say that some designers, push the limit of clothing, and create garments that aren’t always wearable in our day-to-day lives.
